As I mentioned this is not the first time going through the Master Key Experience and for some reason I am finding resistance in myself still. I am starting to think I am taking on too much but at the same time I know it will be worth it if I can persist.
Yesterday when working on my coding assignments the lesson was on Pseudo Code and knowing the definition I just looked it up anyway “a combining form meaning: false, pretended, unreal” basically a form of code not written in any language but a rough outline of what you are attempting to accomplish.
This can then be created in the appropriate language by an expert programmer in the necessary language. Something was said which got my attention, a synchronisity with the Master Key Experience and something Mark had said one one of the recent webinars…
Write it in your own hand pen (or pencil) and paper… and one of the people on the coding webinar said they like to do exactly this when they are staring at a blank screen and unable to get the mental juices flowing… she called it a “pattern interrupt” just like Mark.
I had already committed more to doing the written exercises last time I was in the course, the first time being a tech I totally cheated and did mostly electronic. Having a pattern interrupt from the norm forces the brain to think differently and when you do that amazing things start happening.
Our family took a trip to San Antonio and visited Six Flags and the Alamo so I am a little behind and we missed the webinar last week but rewatched (mostly listening for me) on the way home as I drove. I am noticing a lot of resistance in the family (the children mostly) in doing the exercises.
Truth be told we wonder if they may be a little too young for it but they are rolling with it for the most part and we do the daily sit together so we know they are at least doing some of the critical components.
This week I actually sat and input all the information into the slide presentation program (ProPresenter) for the church services. What a lot of work and new little things to pay attention to. While I want to try and make it as simple as possible it seems for now at least that some of it will just have to be retyped into the program to make it look right as easily as possible what a headache….
And of course when it comes to hymns there are a few different versions so making sure the words are correct is important… I did have to change a couple of minor things even though one I had to do just because that is what is expected.
The word “through” spelt “thru” because that’s how it is in the hymnal… I struggled with that a bit but confirmed with the person teaching me that’s the way it is expected to be so roll with the punches and do it anyway. Who am I to have it my way anyhow? Until next week!
Ahhh… Yes. We absolutely must interrupt the old pattern , and way of thinking. Then, we can just live our lives, and watch with Amazement the blessings, and abundance that come our way.
