Guide:

minutes remaining

I’m back with some thoughts from Week 3 of the Master Key Experience, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a ride. This week was all about linking new habits to our personal needs and diving deep into what really matters. Here’s what I took away from it all.

Linking Habits to Personal Needs

First off, I loved the idea of linking new habits to my personal needs. Using shapes as reminders? Genius! It’s like turning my daily tasks into a fun little game. I can already see how this will help me stay on track and make those habits stick.

A Quote That Hit Home

I came across a quote that really resonated with me:

Our difficulties are largely due to confused ideas and ignorance of our true interests. Charles Haanel

Wow, right? It made me realize how often we get caught up in our heads and lose sight of what we truly want. This week, I’ve been working on clarifying my interests so that my actions align better with my goals.

Learning from Others’ DMPs

Seeing examples of other Definite Major Purposes (DMPs) was super helpful. It sparked some ideas for refining my own DMP. Watching how others improved their statements gave me the nudge I needed to think critically about my word choices and make my goals clearer. I’m definitely going to revisit my DMP with fresh eyes!

The Power of Masterminding

The mastermind section after the notes was a game-changer for me. Realizing that others are also struggling to keep up with all the habits made me feel like I’m not alone in this journey. It gave me a boost of courage to keep pushing forward and catch up where I can.

Changing Subconscious Messaging

Honestly, one of the main reasons I’m taking this class is to change those faulty subconscious messages that have held me back for so long. I want to let my true self shine through, and I know that doing this work will help me get there. Plus, it’s important for me to show my kids and loved ones that I’m serious about achieving my goals.

Moving Forward with Intention

So, here’s what I’m planning to do moving forward:

  • Link habits with personal needs: Shapes are going to be my new best friends!
  • Clarify interests: I’ll spend some time figuring out what really matters to me.
  • Refine my DMP: Inspired by others, I’m going to make sure mine is as clear as possible.
  • Engage in masterminding: I’ll keep participating in discussions and sharing experiences with fellow members.

In short, Week 3 has been a real eye-opener! The insights I’ve gained are helping me reshape my habits, clarify my goals, and connect more deeply with who I really am. I can’t wait to see how these changes play out in both my life and the lives of those around me!
