Oh, how my mind won’t stop thinking. Weeks one and two were quite easy for me to sit still as long as I was able to think about things. This week sitting still and to not think was a bit more difficult to achieve. I was able to sit and not think for a short time, but when I had to breathe, I thought about my breath. It is said that we make on average 35,000 decisions each day.

No wonder our mind is in constant motion. It’s the sub-conscious that never sleeps.

I did come to realize the state just before I fall asleep seems to be the state where my mind is able to relax and not think of things. The moment before the conscious mind goes to sleep.

Something I have been doing for several weeks now is listening to affirmations and my vision while I sleep. I do think it has made a difference because I wake up in a better state. I feel more calm, relaxed and confident.

I will continue to sit and see what happens next.
