Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina are all still trying to put the pieces together after having 3 large hurricanes pass through them. North Carolina is still missing 92 people.

My sister, Linda, who lives in Tampa still has not been able to get back to her home due to her street having been heavily flooded and more like a river than a street but, the water is going down.
There is a lake behind her house that was continuing to get higher and higher due to being fed water from lakes in the chain above it. She knows that it almost got in by one of the neighbors.
Her son, John has started back to USF hoping to finish this term and graduate with his finance degree from the College of Business. I think he will make it as he does most of his coursework online.
After the storm ended, he had to post a test online to one of his professors. Linda and John managed to get outside a Lowe’s and used their wifi to post his test on the last day.
My neighborhood has piles of yard trash around it. Many piles of debris are around the town. I used old garbage cans and the yard trash paper bags to cleanup.
Still have some work to do to clean up but, it is a lot better. The yard trash guys picked up all my stuff but left other stuff around the neighborhood. They did not seem to have any tools such as a pitchfork to do that work.
Great article brings home the reality of these past few weeks and how many are still with trash, flooding, no power! Glad your nephew was able to post his test online…there are still stuff to be greatful for and yes, it’s getting better!
