Key Insights
This week, I experienced three major insights that reshaped how I approach my thoughts, actions, and overall energy. Each stood out as a unique lesson, offering me a deeper understanding of my journey.
1. The Empowerment of Mirror Practice
Spending 50 minutes reading my one-sentence DMP in front of a mirror was an empowering experience. It wasn’t just about saying the words; it was about embodying them fully.
I felt those words resonate through my entire body, growing stronger with each repetition. Time seemed irrelevant as I immersed myself in this exercise.
By the end, I wasn’t merely stating a desire, I was living the reality of my vision and fully embodying it.
Claiming my vision with such intention and self-awareness of how we can reprogram our minds.
2. The Value of Reflecting on Success
The success cards and affirmations provided a powerful way to reflect on my journey.
Taking the time to review and document my past achievements, no matter how small, shifted my perspective.
I’ve had some significant accomplishments, yet I’m often so focused on my next goal that I rarely pause to appreciate the progress I’ve made.
This practice reminded me to celebrate myself.
If I don’t acknowledge my successes, who will? (Besides my mom, of course.)
This isn’t about inflating my ego, it’s about recognizing my efforts, resilience, and growth. Celebrating my wins fuels gratitude and reinforces the mindset needed to keep progressing. It’s an opportunity to become my biggest advocate and to honor the journey.
3. The Energy I Bring to the Day
I’ve been noticing more lately that when I’m deeply focused on a project, I sometimes become overly serious, less playful, and more trapped in my own thoughts.
This pattern, which I’ve seen before when I competed, rarely serves me. And I’m starting to see it as a signal, a reminder to shift out of my head and into my heart.
When I operate from a heart-centered space, everything feels lighter.
There’s an unmistakable sense of flow and connection, to myself, others, and something greater than me.
This energy isn’t about taking life lightly; it’s about allowing things to unfold naturally without forcing them. There’s a vibrational quality to this state that defies words but feels profoundly aligned.
Ahren your focus on picking up the celebrations of your success is amazing. We praise our kids on their wins, but often forget all the incredible things we have accomplished as well. Thanks for the reminder to come from a heart-centred position.
Thanks Julie!!!
