“Our difficulties are largely due to confused ideas and ignorance of our true interests.”

–Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, Part II

I have recently gone back through the lessons in the Master Key book to fully harness my Sit and fully embrace the lessons.

I was noticing that I was going through the motions and not taking my Sit as seriously as I needed to, and as a result my mind was always in a rush, and I kept wondering why it seemed like everyone but myself was having these Aha moments and finding their DMP’s but me!

Well as we have been reading this month in The Greatest Salesman in the World, Scroll III, “If I persist, I win.” And dog nab it am I stubborn! I am not giving up until it all clicks for me!

And this week, let’s just say it has started to click… here is a conversation I had with one of my coworkers whom I told about this wonderful experience:

Me: Did you ever start reading the Master Key?

Coworker: Yes sir, many of the concepts are actually in the Bible

Me: mmhmm it’s all connected, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7-8

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will”. Romans 12:2

Coworker: That’s it, man, even from the very beginning he’s making the assertion that everything starts with thoughts and I agree 100%. The perception you have of yourself and of the world around you, is the way you will carry yourself and react to the world around you.

Me: So, within, so without. Our inner world is manifested outside. That’s why the spiritual part of us is so important to maintain and take care of. I’ve seen so many talented and gifted individuals go through so much chaos and disarray and it’s in large part because they neglect their spiritual side.

Coworker: Facts! I believe that’s why the world is in such disarray today because of this. Everyone is focused on what they can see instead of considering and examining the things they cannot see. What’s amazing is some have suggested our thoughts are multidimensional. Man we should do a podcast show…

Me: They are! I got to send you this video I watched yesterday. It was explaining how when we think of something we want and focus on it long and hard enough we can transcend this dimension, and we lose sense of time because we are in a sense “quantum leaping.”

Your senses can actually experience those thoughts when you tie emotion to them. Kind of like when you’re really hungry and you start thinking about Bojangles and you can almost taste the chicken and dirty rice.

The more you think of it and if you focus on those thoughts long enough, you find yourself in the Bojangles driveway ordering a 3-piece chicken dinner with dirty rice and sweet tea!

Coworker: Wow that’s amazing, yes sir indeed. That’s why the scripture says, to set your mind on things above.

***end of conversation***

Needless to say, I am EXCITED!

Just remember, it’s never too late to get with the program! But the longer you wait, the harder it is! I am fortunate that I am an early riser, and work has been light due to the holidays, so I am fortunate to have the time to brush up on everything.

And it has allowed me to find my DMP, and I am thrilled to see what else is inside of me waiting to burst out!!
