The Mental Diet
One of the things I most enjoy about the Master Key Experience (MKE) is how the lessons are ingrained into your consciousness, and pop-up where you need them. For example, during the holiday season this year, I was able to tap into three tools from MKE:
1. The mental diet – I can simply choose not to say or think something negative. It’s that easy.
2. Non-opinions – I can also simply refrain from having an opinion, and from having to offer one. It’s also that easy!
3. I know that from my own DMP, I now have this line within me: “I am enjoying my life as if it is a game I get to play, or I wonderful trip I get to experience.”
Having these three new norms in my mindset is really helping me to just drop the types of thoughts that would typically make me unhappy, and refocus me on the simple joys and pleasures of living my life.
Even if my life isn’t going totally the way I had wished/hoped/expected – I have a new mindset of “adventure, experience, surprise” – and that context makes me excited and grateful for what I receive.
It’s a much healthier perspective that the “I should have” perspective I am embarrassed to admit I have been carrying around for much of my life.
Thank you MKE for helping me to replace the I should have’s with a new set of I get to’s!
What a great mindset …“adventure, experience, surprise”.
