I really enjoyed part twenty of Haanel’s Master Key System. In point two, I was really struck with the idea that as a Christian it does not matter that there is a vast treasure if we do not acknowledge it and work every day at better accessing it. We often talk about material wealth, but rarely do we acknowledge the “spiritual wealth” we each hold within.
Just like an unclaimed fortune, I am better understanding that the innate power and potential people have, has no value unless we consciously recognize and use it. The key lies in our “awareness” and “willingness” to take action.
These past few months of the MKE have helped me to understand that “thought” is a mighty force. My thoughts, fueled by my awareness” is starting to reshape the realities of my life, just as surely as my life blueprint up to this point has gotten me where I am today.
I see more clearly that by focusing your mind, you harness a limitless resource that molds your internal beliefs and, ultimately, your external circumstances.
However, I also see that when we “ignore” this power, we reduce ourselves to being “beasts of burden” or in a more modern vernacular “batteries” in a world led by those who “do” think and “do” recognize the force of consciousness.
So what is the result of ignorance? We work harder, yet see fewer lasting rewards for our effort. It’s not that hard work is without benefit—but there’s a profound distinction between laboring under unawareness and working in alignment with your true potential.
The “secret of power” is in aligning your individual mind with what I will call God’s Mind—a recognition that you’re part of something greater and that the fundamental principles governing this relationship are “unchangeable”. This consistency provides a dependable foundation from which we can build better lives. Lives that allow us to work toward better goals.
So, how can you start? By making a daily practice of recognizing your spiritual wealth. Set aside time to reflect on your thoughts and intentions. Then, work on better cultivating awareness of your creative power and its source.
When we do, I am now seeing a better key to unlocking the hidden treasure trove within each of us, and discovering that life’s true riches spring not from external fortunes, but from the well of possibility inside you and I.
Ken, how clear it is that you have invested a lot of time, thought, and energy to get these awarenesses that you didn’t have in the same way before. Not only am I grateful that you are finding all this–“I am now seeing a better key to unlocking the hidden treasure trove within each of us, and discovering that life’s true riches spring not from external fortunes, but from the well of possibility inside you and I.” I’m grateful that by your thoughtful P/presence others will get the key to unlocking the hidden treasure too by your showing the way that no one showed you before this.
Ken, this reflection really resonates on a deep level. The idea that our spiritual wealth remains untapped unless we actively acknowledge and use it is such a powerful truth. It’s easy to focus on material gains, but the real treasure is in how we cultivate our awareness and align ourselves with a higher purpose. Your perspective on “thought” as a force that shapes both our inner and outer worlds is a reminder that true transformation starts from within! 🙌🔥
