It’s Week 2 of the 2024-25 Master Key Experience course. I am under no illusion that this is an endeavour requiring sacrifice, discipline and commitment. The work is as fascinating as it is perplexing.
This week we continued our thrice-daily reading of Scroll One from Og Mandino’s ‘The Greatest Salesman’. I will fully admit there have been times this week when I have become frustrated with the repetitive process, and the old blueprint, in its neediness for familiarity, has protested. My mentors have armed me well for this, and I know that I must trust the process and relax into it.
We have worked on our Definite Major Purpose (DMP) and added two Personal Pivotal Needs (PPNs). As a White and someone who struggles to make spontaneous decisions, I struggled with this. I have a niggling sense that these crucial drivers of behaviour may change from my initial choice of Spiritual Growth and Autonomy. Are these things truly oxygen for my soul?
Lesson 2 of The Master Key System brought me to a standstill by the first line;
Our difficulties are largely due to confused ideas and ignorance of our true interests. Charles Haanel
As someone who has always struggled to know what they wanted to do with their life, I feel as though I have made my fair share of mistakes and poor choices. Is there any wonder when our minds are peppered with often unhelpful and unproductive thoughts?
This week’s sit, holding perfectly still and trying to push all thought from our minds was incredibly challenging!
That IS a powerful statement! I agree! Exciting times ahead!
Well stated! Yes, the sit this week was challenging and as we continue I am sure it will get better and we will master the sit. I also can identify with you on making our share of mistakes, when I read that I am in full agreement. If only I knew this information early in my life. But, here I am and we all are going to grow and become better for it.
Trust the process and enjoy the journey!
Yes, as a blue, I was also challenged by this week’s sit!
As a fellow White, I can totally relate to your blog this week. Thanks for adding your voice to my thoughts:)
