It’s been a heck of a week, but I have made it through it. It seems as though many new changes came all at once to my life. These are welcomed changes that initially are giving me challenges; however, I truly believe they will get sorted out.
There’s no looking back–only forward. I chose the picture to relate to this blog post because she looks as though she’s in deep thought. I believe that for me to get on track I’m going to have to make a schedule and hold myself to it. This will include scheduling to go to bed at a reasonable time. Brain fog is a true thing, and it can become a beast. I have not found time to sit yet, but I will get this sitting and quieting of my mind included into my days and weeks as well because I have always wanted to be sure to slow down and control my thoughts.
This ability to have thought power is interesting to me because so many people just ramble. They just ramble on about everything that comes to their mind, and I wonder how many things they could have gotten done if they would just stop and control their thoughts. I’m enjoying the fact that I’ll be able to sit here and have “blank moments”– no thoughts!
Thought concentrated on a definite purpose becomes power! Wow, what a concept! I can imagine that the saying, “what you focus on expands,” is the reason concentrated thought is important. The mind is so powerful, and I know for a fact that we don’t use a large portion of the power afforded to us. This must be how the mind of matter gains strength within.
So, in closing this week’s blog post, this exploration of the subconscious mind is extremely inviting because this is a creative force that many never get to learn about, less more put into effect. The development of good habits versus drifting through life without a definite, burning desire gives me something to look forward to, and I hope you will experience this too. Thus, the takeaway this week is let your intentions create your habits and not the other way around.
Let your intentions create your habits…thank you Kamayah.
Well said.
Dean, you right! Most of us operated from a busy mind at one point or another. It’s time to walk in power of the mind. Let’s go.
Wow! I enjoyed your post! Yes, imagine if people controlled their thoughts moved with intention, and had a purpose! I was in that crowd that moved along with everyone else, being concerned about what others thought and not following my heart. I am excited for you and look forward to more growth!
